Here’s to APT’s New Walking Holidays

The new travel style is designed for those who wish to experience guided-walking, with a touch of luxury, knowing that everything is taken care of by APT. APT’s new Walking Holidays, provide guests with the freedom to fully immerse themselves in remote and beautiful locations including Tasmania’s Bay of Fire and Lake St Clair National Parks, South-East Queensland’s unique Scenic Rim and New Zealand’s spectacular Marlborough Sounds.  On an APT Walking Holiday guests will walk with ease, carrying day-packs only and will be accompanied by a knowledgeable APT Walking Leader as well as local walking guides. The length of day walks and terrain varies, but guests can be assured they will be staying in unique and beautiful accommodations, dining on gourmet food and wine, and will have ample free days included.

New tours include:

  • 10-day New Zealand’s Queen Charlotte Track & Marlborough Sounds Walking Holiday which includes four walking days in the Queen Charlotte Sounds region and a journey on the Coastal Pacific Train. Priced from $6,495 per person twin share with four departure dates starting January through to April 2021.
  • 12-day Tasmania’s Bay of Fires, Lake St Clair, Hobart & Bruny Island Walking Holiday which includes seven walking days, boutique accommodation and gourmet dining. Priced from $9,295 per person twin share, with the first departures 4 December2020 and further trips in February and March 2021.
  • 9-day Tasmania’s Bay of Fires, Lake St Clair & Hobart Walking Holiday which includes four walking days, boutique accommodation and gourmet dining. Priced from $6,695 per person twin share, with three departures December2020, February and March 2021.
  • 9-day Queensland’s Scenic Rim & Sunshine Coast Walking Holiday which includes four walking days on the spectacular Scenic Rim trail which passes through Gondwana rainforest. Priced from $7,595 per person twin share, with four departures April to July 2021.

Not to forget, APT has teamed up with Qantas to offer Qantas Frequent Flyer members the ability to earn Qantas Points when booking APT holidays. Guests can earn 1 Qantas Point per AU$1 spent on APT holidays.

The tour operator has responded to the current climate by implementing further measures to provide agents and their client’s confidence to book. The company has reduced deposit amounts to $500 per person.
